Growing up CeeJ was pushed into a musical upbringing by his parents who paid for him to learn to play the keyboard and the recorder so there was always music in his house which is why he followed what he enjoyed, he however ended up being a DJ due his idol Avicii who made his love for dance music start, he also listened to other dance music artists such a MK and Sigala.
